Lady in the Water is about a Apartment building superintendent Cleveland Heep (Giamatti) who rescues what he thinks is a young woman from the pool he maintains. When he discovers that she is actually a character from a bedtime story who is trying to make the journey back to her home, he works with his tenants to protect his new friend from the creatures that are determined to keep her in our world.
I always liked M. Night Shyamalan movies and his off beat style of film making.
This film was no different and I was reminded of a great story teller telling his yarn.
There was a few exciting moments and I did enjoy the acting. As always I liked the way the story comes together in the end from different angles.
This film was not as good as Signs or The Sixth Sense but it was a quality movie.
Well worth the money. Go see it.
