Seth Fisher (July 22, 1972 – January 30, 2006) was an American comic book artist and penciller. He is best known for his unique style as seen in Fantastic Four/Iron Man: Big in Japan.

He first gained attention for his work on DC Comics’ Green Lantern: Willworld, and was nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Penciller/Inker for Flash: Time Flies and Vertigo Pop! Tokyo, also from DC. He recently illustrated an arc of the Batman series Legends of the Dark Knight.

Fisher also did magazine and album covers in Finland and his adopted home of Japan where he met his wife Hisako, as well as concept design for the computer game Myst III: Exile. becker&mayer! will posthumously release a project he had completed called Backpack Adam, a ‘book plus’ release that features the book with a device featured in the story, through Scholastic.

Fisher’s death was made public by his friend and fellow artist J.H. Williams III on February 2, 2006, one day after the release of the final issue of the Fantastic Four/Iron Man series published by Marvel Comics. He died instantly after falling seven stories from the roof of a club in Osaka.

    I would say that hhe picture you have in the upper left corner is not Seth’s. It’s quirky enough, but Seth never did that sort of shading, at least not since he started doing comic book work, nor are those his style of figures. Thanks.
