Robert Wade and Neal Purvis along with co-writer Paul Haggis have helped Casino Royale snag 9 BAFTA nominations, including screenplay. Which is something considering this is just another Bond film! Even though it it a very good one, just try to imagine Casino being nominated for 9 Academy Awards. Yeah, I can’t see it either.

On the circuit, Wade and Purvis spoke with The Trades about the surprise nominations as well as what to expect in the next installment. Will we see Q and Moneypenny? When is the script due? Will the next pic be the Flemming novel Risico? So many questions!

After a successful release at the San Diego International Comic-Con in 2006, fans have been anticipating the next installment of Don Bluth’s Dragon’s Lair saga. Well, wait no more. Issue 2 is in stores right now!

The story for the issue was penned Andy Mangels, a USA Today best-selling author and co-author of over a dozen novels. Mangels is no stranger to comics, having written for everyone from Marvel and DC to Topps and Warp Graphics over his 20 year career. Andy is also the curator for the online Wonder Woman Museum, having collected Wonder Woman memorabilia since the 1970s which shows his strong dedication to a comic franchise.
