anna waltonHere is a excerpt from Doug Jones Blog, who plays Abe..
Since cameras don’t role until June 8th, I have SO enjoyed the couple hours here and there rehearsal schedule so far that affords me all this much-needed down time…

I have been rehearsing scenes with Guillermo and the lovely Anna Walton, who plays Princess Nuala. Without giving anything away, I will simply tell you that this is one fantastic actress, and her highness may bring out a side of Abe Sapien that you’ve never seen before. Anna is just delightful, and is here in Budapest with her 4 week old baby!!!!! I shall never complain about stress ever again for as long as I live (said Dougie, as he pictured 3am feedings before a work day). My hope is that you will fall in love with Anna as we all have on this end… Read the rest of this entry »

Speed Racer’s Car

Like Hirsch, the brothers grew up on the popular 1960s Japanese cartoon about the adventures of a racing family — and its pet chimpanzee, Chim Chim.

“The TV show was the brothers’ introduction to Japanese animation,” says Joel Silver, a friend of the press-shy Wachowskis and producer of Racer and the Matrix films. “They fell in love with the genre. They said they’d been making R-rated movies their whole lives and wanted to do something their nephews and nieces could watch.” Read the rest of this entry »

Full Auto 2: Battlelines (PSP) review

In: Game Review

By Boot Scraper
The PSP has recently been hit with a swarm of titles that stand up to their big console brothers in the past several months. Ratchet and Clank, Daxter, Burnout, and many other games and franchises have been faithfully ported or created anew on Sony’s little wonder. The latest in the line of miniature clones is Full Auto 2.

Full Auto 2 bursts onto the PSP with a rocket fuel amount of energy. Just after being released as an exclusive system on Sony’s mammoth PS3, it’s now taking a turn on the little guy. But before then it was a woefully underrated game on the Xbox 360 earlier in it’s life. For those who have not played any Full Auto before (and shame on you), Read the rest of this entry »
