Survivor China Review Week 2

In: Survivor

survivorWell, let me first start out by saying that I was SO sure that the Kmart model was going home that I would have put money on it! Boy, was I WRONG! So didn’t see that coming….AT ALL! And, why on earth would they keep him?!?!??! As we can see, he certainly isn’t brawn! He couldn’t even break down the door in the challenge and was just so darn tired…poor little washed up model. He is an AHOLE! Could he have been MORE condescending and patronizing to Ashley? I mean come on! He is rude and arrogant, and there is NO WAY in hell that guy modeled for anyone other than Kmart or “maybe” WalMart….COME ON! Who is he kidding? Certainly, not me. Read the rest of this entry »

McGillion As Star Trek’s Scotty?

In: Movie News

Source: TrekMovie.com
The 38 year-old actor is well known to sci-fi fans for his portrayal of the Scottish doctor Carson Beckett on the popular Stargate spin-off and his name often comes up in fan discussions regarding potential ‘Scotty’ actors. Like the original Scotty (James Doohan) McGillion is from Canada, but he was born in Scotland and clearly does a ‘flawless’ Scottish accent. Unlike previously reported Scottish competition, McGillion held his recent Trek audition in Los Angeles instead of London. The actor tells TrekMovie.com “Obviously it would be a great honour to follow in James Doohan’s footsteps.”

Superman’s Return to Krypton Sequence

In: Movie News

Some things we missed in the first movie we may see in the next film…Here is a article talking about it. Ben Procter at XSI Base in which he talks about the possibility of the cut return to Krypton scene being in the sequel. Here’s a clip:

Sadly, much of my work on Superman Returns never ended up in the final film, because at the last minute a big introductory sequence where Superman returns to the shattered remains of Krypton was dropped to help keep down the running time. But at any rate, I worked on a variety of elements for this lost sequence, including the destroyed planet itself and both the exterior and interior of a large crystalline ship which has carried Supes from earth. Zoe Saldana to Play Lt. Uhura

In: Movie News

Zoe SaldanaA very good choice. Uhura has finally been cast for the next Star Trek movie and it’s none other than Zoe Saldana. Who is Zoe Saldana? I have absolutely no clue but she is drop dead gorgeous. There’s nothing else to say really, other than she looks like she’s a perfect fit for the role and that, again, she’s really, really hot. So far the casting has been great for the next Star Trek flick (especially Zachary Quinto as Spock), but I have a feeling they’re going to mess it all up by casting someone like Jason Biggs as Captain Kirk. Oh well, at least Zoe is going to be a welcomed distraction.

I wonder who will be playing the red shirts?
