20th Century Fox’s 2009 tentpoles, the studio has revealed the official synopsis for X-Men Origins: Wolverine:
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is set to star Jackman and will be directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition). The producers are Lauren Shuler Donner and Ralph Winter (who produced all three previous “X-Men” films), along with Jackman and his Seed Prods. producing partner, John Palermo. The film will be executive produced by Marvel Films’ Kevin Feige.
Leading up to the events of X-Men, X-Men Origins: Wolverine – written by David Benioff (The Kite Runner, Troy) – tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.

Witchblade Takeru Manga #12, the stunning over-sized conclusion of the first joint manga production of its kind between GONZO and Top Cow. The series tells the tale of Witchblade bearer Takeru as she struggles to controls the new found weapon while defending herself against demons and foreign governments that seek to control it.
Witchblade Takeru Manga was originally serialized in the Japanese magazine Champion Red and written by Witchblade Anime head writer Yasuko Kobayashi and illustrated by Kazasa Sumita. For the US release, the artist and original publisher gave their blessing to have the entire series re-printed at American comic size, flipped to read left to right, and re-colored by Top Cow colorist Blond (Freshmen II, Velocity: Pilot Season). Well, if any of you were surprised about last night’s vote…then you don’t realize how this game works. I knew last night it was going to be Erik the moment they voted James out. No one wants Erik sitting next to them at the final two. He would win. He hasn’t made anyone mad and he’s well liked. Yes, the same is true for Mullet, but she is the majority vote with the original four. Once they get rid of P.G., they will eat their own.
