Jenna Jameson has a comic book. I know what you’re thinking: Is it a porno comic book? No it’s not, sorry. Seriously though does Jenna really need to break into the world of comics? The answer I think is probably “no”, but Jenna has one really great thing going for her in this endeavor; actually instead of saying one thing I should say two people, Christina Z. and Mukesh Singh. Christina Z. is probably known best for her awesome work on the “Witchblade” series and she brings a huge amount of depth to this book. I have to believe that Christina touches each page of this script with magic. Then there is our artist Mukesh Singh, all I can say about this guy’s artwork is “WOW!” this comic looks great, every panel expertly penciled and colored. I love the mood and feel through out the book. Read the rest of this entry »
So, now onto Survivor! You cannot be surprised one bit that they voted out Mikey B…..come on! I saw that coming a mile away! Now, I can say with total, and full conviction that Joel is running this game and he is SOOOOOOOOOOO GREAT at it too! Go Joel! LOVE YOU!Crazy Cathy is so scary isn’t she? And, I’m sorry, but I have to say that she is not the sharpest tool in the drawer. She had NO clue that Ozzie was making a fake idol, or much less that he even found the idol. Top Cow Productions Inc. and Virgin Comics announced today the first-ever crossover comic book event between the two companies, starring the top, solo female characters from both publishers. In the story, longtime Top Cow icon Witchblade, a mystical artifact currently wielded by New York City detective Sara Pezzini, travels to India and encounters Devi, a supernatural force created by the gods that has been reborn inside the body of a young woman named Tara Mehta.
“The crossover seemed like a perfect connection,” said Top Cow Publisher Filip Sablik. “It was a natural fit to have the Witchblade and Devi meet each other. And to have writer Ron Marz at the helm for us was by far the logical choice.” Read the rest of this entry »

“The Stranded” is the first book of what I’m sure will become many comics “Virgin” will be creating in conjunction with the “SIFI Channel”. The truth is I saw this whole teaming up thing and I thought “great! (Please note the sarcasm.)Here comes another crappy promotional comic book designed only to promote something that I don’t care about.” So I plopped down on my oversized leather couch and began to read. Guess what? I read the whole thing without a single gag. In fact I really like this book. Read the rest of this entry »
