There are those who listen to their own heartbeat and have the desire and passion to turn their dreams into reality, no matter what the odds, and it is through innovative minds like these that Beloved Pictures was born.

After a long evening of meetings and video conference calls to Los Angeles, Caleb Applegate takes a deep breath and smiles. He’s just signed another client to his up-and-coming entertainment management subsidiary, Beloved Management, as well as hit the green light on a pilot his production company, Beloved Pictures, is producing. Though days for Applegate and his two Partners, Michael Ludlum and Jason Usry are long and tenuous, they never seem to grow tired because they are in fact living their dream of working in the film industry. The Joker said some pretty mean things!

In: Just for Fun

The Joker: Joker here. Now you fellas have said some pretty mean things. Some of which were true. Take that fiend, Boss Grissom. He was a thief, and a terrorist. On the other hand he had a tremendous singing voice. He’s dead now, and he’s left me in charge. Now, I can be theatrical, and maybe even a little rough - but one thing I am not, is a *killer*. I am an artist. I *love* a good party. So, truce. Commence au festival!

“Batman: Gotham Knight” Trailer

In: DVD News

Yahoo! Movies has debuted the first trailer for Batman: Gotham Knight, a direct-to-DVD anthology that bridge the gap between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. The animation quality looks stunning and it comes as no surprise when there is Studio 4°C, Production I.G, and Madhouse involve with the production. If you ask me, Batman has never look this good in animated form. Out of the 6 interlocking stories, the segment I most looking forward to watching is when Batman takes on Deadshot which is directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Ninja Scroll).

Batman: Gotham Knight will hit stores on July 8th or you can catch a premiere screening at Wizard World Chicago on June 28th.

Y’all know I love Ozzie, but I have to say this game has gotten to his pretty little head. Thank god he doesn’t wear a shirt, because I’m not sure it would fit over his big head. I think a button down would work, but not a pull over. Ozzie, simmer down on the ego trip buddy. Read the rest of this entry »
