“Masks began as an exercise in sequential storytelling using only visuals, mainly photography and digital painting . When I decided to actually letter Masks I felt the writing needed to be just as unique as its visual style. What I came up with was more of a graphic poem than a graphic novel. On the surface “Masks” is a dark psychological thriller that follows a girl named Sarah who’s thoughts and memories are not always her own. Masks is a non linear story and is meant to be left open to interpretation, so I won’t elaborate and spoil that aspect of it. My intention with Masks was to make something highly original that I had never seen done in comics before and a book the reader would want to open up more than just once.”

Kara (Laura Vandervoort) AKA Supergirl, will not be a regular cast member for Season 8.

Season 8 will have a new villian, Doomsday. In the Comics, he killed Superman.

There will also be a new female villian. She is described by producers as “gorgeous…intelligent, brilliantly manipulative, and dangerously sinister.” They say she will be “familiar” to fans.

Most believe Season 8 will be the final season for Smallville.

The lines between history and conspiracy will blur this August as Devil’s Due presents the all new original graphic novel Serpo in collaboration with Invisible Hand Studios (Urban Monsters) and executive producer Vin Di Bona. Music-video-director-turned-auteur Michel Gondry continues to charm with his low-tech offering BE KIND REWIND. Set in dreary Passaic New Jersey the comedy centers on two of the town’s residents: trouble-making Jerry (Jack Black) and well-meaning Mike (Mos Def). Ben Templesmith’s love affair with tentacles continues. Wormwood, the English-accented, beer-drinking, sentient corpse possessing a “maggot expat from the Hell dimension,” returns in Wormwood: Calamari Rising (TPB), a deluxe collection of the acclaimed four-issue miniseries from IDW Publishing. The volume, sporting an all-new cover from the Eisner-nominated Templesmith, will be in stores June 4.

The original score soundtrack of the movie Wanted with music by Danny Elfman in addition to a brand new Danny Elfman song with Danny on vocals. Wanted is a 2008 film loosely based on the comic book miniseries Wanted by Mark Millar. The film is directed by Timur Bekmambetov and stars James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie.
