Universal Studios resurrects the classic lycanthrope with this tale of an American who experiences an unsettling transformation after returning to his ancestral home in Victorian-era Great Britain and being attacked by a rampaging werewolf. Benicio Del Toro stars as the unfortunate bite victim in a film penned by Sleepy Hollow scribe Andrew Kevin Walker, with Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, and Hugo Weaving co-starring and makeup maestro Rick Baker providing the physical effects. Accompanying the book’s release is an exhibition of these “fantastic contraptions” at the Device Gallery in La Jolla, California, running from July 19 – September 2. As one of the stars of the ABC hit series “Ugly Betty,” Ana Ortiz has
enchanted the primetime audience playing Hilda Suarez, big sister to
the title character. Today, Ortiz offers fans a 180-degree acting
pivot from her most noteworthy role by voicing gritty detective Anna
Ramirez in the DC Universe original animated film “Batman Gotham
Knight.” The film is available today, July 8, on DVD, Blu-Ray and
OnDemand.

Ortiz initially auditioned for the same part in “The Dark Knight,” but
