TR2N looks very cool. I searched everywhere and these are the best copies of this bootleged footage I could find. The cool part is that Jeff Bridges is back! This may be a little blurry but I think it does the job.
Ursula K. Le Guin, the prolific and award winning author best known for The Earthsea Cycle and The Left Hand of Darkness recently mentioned Fablewood as part of her series of website articles titled “Some Books I’ve Liked.”
“Finally, an anthology edited by William Ward, Fablewood (Ape Entertainment, 2008.) I just received this book from the editor. Twenty-three or four artists and writers, living in the US, Canada, Finland, worked on these thirteen graphic tales, some only a page or two, some longer. The art styles are extremely various, and so are the subjects, though they all have a fantasy or fabulous element. It’s a contained explosion of visual imagination — really exhilarating. Some of the pieces work better than others, some are difficult, but none of them is inept or stupid, and some are stunners. Here comes a Superman reboot much like Marvel rebooted Hulk. Warner Bros. Pictures Group President Jeff Robinov has told The Wall Street Journal that the studio is going to be reintroducing Superman.
Since Superman Returns was so completely forgettable this turn of events is a nice move, but on the other hand, who really cares? Superman plays pitch perfect as a comic character but the movie will never work unless you can somehow flush out something that makes him relatable to the general public. The problem with DC regarding the Superman franchise is that they don’t want to allow his character to be real. By the way there is a major down side to this re-launch. The downside is that we wont be seeing Justice League or Superman vs. Batman hitting the theaters anytime soon. It appears that what Bryan Singer did for Marvel with the X-Men films, he did the opposite for DC with Superman Returns. Is Bryan the ultimate anti DC comic fan boy? That remains to be seen.

If you haven’t already watched every episode of “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” then this is a golden opportunity to begin. Season three of this ridiculously rude comedy will be hitting the DVD isle September 9th. There has been a cult of fans following the antics of these outrageous characters since the shows conception but the truly uncomfortably funny moments seemed to hit full steam going into season three. I personally love the twisted humor and the brash exploits revolving around Paddy’s Pub. So if you are looking for a great show destined to be discussed around the water cooler, pick up the last three seasons of “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”. With season four all set to begin you have to catch up now. Read the rest of this entry »
