Joe Daley continues in the producer’s chair and you might keep an eye out for a certain Mr Bradley in front of the cameras (as Tollington) together with Sophie Ward (Dr Mary Florescu), Jonas Armstrong (Simon McNeal) and Simon Bamford (Derek). Following exposure at the 2008 European Film Market, and the successful completion of the FX shoot in London the film is now in post-production…

“Pirat Tales: The Legend of the Cat O’ Nine Tails” will be hitting your local comic shop November 26, 2008. This brand new title from IDW publishing looks to be a really cool read. Pirat Tales is written and created by Dan Taylor (Ninja Bandito, Hero Happy Hour) with illustrations by Orlando Baez (Family Bones), and colored beautifully by Juan Mar (Bloodrayne). After looking at some finished pages we, here at Hero Spy, were completely intrigued by this rat-infested high sea adventure. So with a heap of effort and a bit of good old-fashioned persistence, we were able to nail down the very talented, and incredibly busy Dan Taylor for a quick interview.
With Pirat Tales hitting stores in November, now is a great time to pre-order a copy. Here is a great site to do just that: TFAW.com

The heart of the story is the relationship between the infamous Captain Blacktail of the sailing ship the Vile Vermin and its newest crewmember, the young mouse known as Pip. It is a high seas adventure which has the young mouse traveling to the mysterious Blud Island and seeking the treasure guarded by the Cat O’ Nine Tails. Read the rest of this entry »

Rumors have abounded since the release of “The Dark Knight,” and Nolan has remained fiercely tight-lipped. But now, has one of his main players revealed some of the biggest casting news of the decade?
In an interview with MTV News conducted just hours ago at the Toronto Film Festival, Michael Caine — there to promote “Is There Anybody There?” — seemed to confirm rumors that the next installment of the “Batman” film franchise will feature two very well-known names playing the roles of The Riddler and the Bumbershoot Bandit, The Penguin. “They’ve already got them in mind,” said Caine, when asked who he’d like to see take up arms against the Caped Crusader. “It’s Johnny Depp as The Riddler. And The Penguin is Philip Seymour Hoffman. I read it in the paper.” Read the rest of this entry »
