Hide your hamster! - I’m not saying that because Richard Gere is in town (technically it was a gerbil) I’m saying it because the Visitors are back and will be hitting your TV screen in the near future.
Scott Peters, the brain behind “The 4400” will be writing the new “V” series that The WB is hoping will become the next Battlestar Galactica.
It seems like we are getting a bunch of reboots these days. That could be due to the fact that no one has an original idea. I recall loving the “V” mini during the 80s. But as often happens, my memories far exceed reality and when the SiFI channel reran V a couple years back, I watched in horror and thought to myself “Jumpin Jesus on a pogo stick! This movie stinks worse then Brittney Spears Va-jay-jay after a night of drunken, confused, and possibly unintentional, sodomy with the Budweiser Clydesdales.” Read the rest of this entry »
These skateboards are available as deck only, complete with trucks and wheels, and are made from seven plies of hard rock maple and feature high-resolution graphics that are nothing short of spectacular. A very limited number of skateboards are available signed by Top Cow Productions founder and CEO Marc Silvestri, who co-created Witchblade and The Darkness.
“The partnership with Top Cow is simply surreal to me,” marveled Andrew Brousseau, founder of Graphic Image Skateboards. “When Image and Top Cow were founded back in 1992, it really revitalized for me the excitement that was once found in visiting the local comic book store. And so in partnering up with Top Cow today to make skateboards, I really feel it’s an incredible opportunity to revitalize the excitement that was once found in buying a new skateboard deck.”
“We’re absolutely thrilled by this partnership,” exclaimed Top Cow President Matt Hawkins. “Graphic Image Skateboards produce fine, quality decks and we’re more than happy to lend our characters to their line.” Read the rest of this entry »
Last night was definitely interesting to say the least. But, last night also confirms a lot of what I’ve been saying about some of the players thus far. Ace is an ASS! GC is an idiot, and Randy is smarter than they all think! And, Randy is my favorite!
I will say that the new tribe with the Professional Gamer (who knew that job existed), and the Olympic athlete deserved to lose. They played like crap and they were lazy as all get out! They were stupid to let go of Jacqui who actually did want to play the game and played it hard. They should have gotten rid of Kelly….no questions asked! Read the rest of this entry »
Josh Brolin to star in Jonah Hex, based on the graphic novel and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank, Game) and to be funded and released by Warner Bros. Brolin’s rep is not only denying this but claiming Brolin is “not attached,” but a voice is telling me to consider the word of a friend who tells me the deal was locked down last night.
Jonah Hex is a fictional character, a Western comic book anti-hero created by writer John Albano and artist Tony DeZuniga and published by DC Comics. The right side of his face is horribly distinctly scarred. He was an officer for the Confederacy during the American Civil War, fought at Gettysburg and is normally shown wearing a tattered Confederate States Army jacket. Hex is surly and cynical, and is in many ways similar to Clint Eastwood’s Man with No Name or The Outlaw Josey Wales.

In a show of support for its top-selling creator-owned title, Devil’s Due Publishing will distribute the previously solicited Hack/Slash issues 16 and 17 directly, rather than through Diamond Comic Distributors. The decision follows Diamond’s receipt of a Cease and Desist letter regarding the issues from an unknown, recently registered company, Re-Animator, LLC, in connection with Dynamite Entertainment’s Nick Barrucci.
