I’m sorry that we are running this story a little late, it somehow slipped by us. We were saddened to hear of it and offer our condolences to Michael’s family. He truly was a great artist.
Heidi MacDonald at The Beat reports that comics artist Michael Turner died Friday June 27th in Santa Monica at the age of 37.
Turner, best known for portraying sexy heroines such as Witchblade and Fathom and covers for such high-profile series as Identity Crisis and Civil War, had been battling bone cancer for the past eight years.
