In an industry dominated by mainstream comics an Indy book “HollyVOOD” created by Steven Thadeus, Vem and illustrated by Anthony Diecidue cracked the top ten list of best selling digital download comic books. HollyVOOD then went on to take the top spot, bypassing the likes of Wolverine and Spiderman. The future of digital comics may prove to be dominated by the Independent publisher.

    What’s the Story:
Hollywood is a place we all know. But HollyVOOD is a gritty ethnic neighborhood just east of all the glitz and glam; a place filled with first generation immigrants. A melting pot that includes Russians, Ukrainians, Armenians and Mexicans… all struggling to fulfill their version of the American Dream.
