Thor has a vast array of possibilities. He is a god, and in the old stories he was not a very nice guy. Check out these amazing versions of the Norse god Thor. He looks to be a bad ass to me.

The Green Arrow does not get the love that he deserves in my opinion. For a character that is as cool as he is, you would think a Green Arrow movie would already be at the theater.
This Green Arrow image by Stanley Lau represents everything that makes Green Arrow awesome!

Congratulations are in order for the Bolton brothers and their web comic Smash. They just signed a fantastic deal with Candlewick Press, and we soon will have the opportunity to read Smash in print! Hurray! I’m a huge fan. Here is the press release.
In her enthusiastic review for the School Library Journal blog, Elizabeth Bird wrote, “If [Smash] follows the lead of such other successful webcomics as Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Jellaby in print form, I will be well pleased.” And now, they’re doing just that!
Chris and Kyle Bolton, the creators of Smash (www.SmashComic.com), are thrilled to announce that they’ve signed a deal to have Season One of their webcomic published by Candlewick Press, the home of such acclaimed children’s books as the Judy Moody, Girl Detective series and the novels of Kate DiCamillo (The Tale of Despereaux).
Smash is an all-ages webcomic about a ten-year-old boy who absorbs the powers of his superhero idol — along with his greatest villain! The entire first season is still available for free online, and the Bolton brothers are hard at work on Season Two, which they expect to debut in September. No publication date has been set for the book.
Their editor at Candlewick is Mary Lee Donovan, who loved and believed in this project at first glance. The Bolton brothers are represented by Bernadette Baker-Baughman of the Baker’s Mark Literary Agency.

Wonder Woman is a DC Comics superheroine created by William Moulton Marston. She first appeared in All Star Comics #8 (December 1941). Due to her recent re-imagining, I thought it might be fun to collect together a handful of awesome Wonder Woman art. What do you think?

I found so many amazing renderings of Wonder Woman that I wanted to share, but I can’t take up ten pages of my blog to share the large sizes with you all. I have gathered a runners up list of my favorites, which you can peruse in thumbnail form bellow. I hope you enjoyed this gallery as much as I enjoyed collecting it.

Tim Burton is a strange sort of dude to be sure, but I love his movies. I also really enjoy his bizarre imagination. Burton’s artwork is not everyones cup of tea, but it is beautiful in its own way, and certainly entertaining.
