Maybe I should re-title this list to “Top 5 Most Popular Sexy Costumes at Comic-Con” because that is a little closer to the truth. The thing about any Comic-Con is that it attracts the “hot” and “not so hot” chicks that want to dress up in sexy costumes. They don’t care who the character is, only that she is sexy and wearing a skin-tight black leotard, or has boobs the size of watermelons. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with it, I’m just saying that they are becoming a stereotype. I see the same costumes every year and I have taken pictures of them all. Here are my top 5.

#5. The Blackcat

This costume is sexy, I have to admit it. I have seen a lot of women throw it on and it works, not always, but most of the time. It’s Black, it’s simple, and It’s easy to make, which probably has a lot to do with its popularity.

#4. The Harley Quinn

The Joker’s crazy sidekick can be a great outfit. The woman that decides on this costume inevitably is following around her ultra nerdy boyfriend who’s dressed as The Joker.

#3. The Catwoman

The Catwoman costume is infamous amongst this crowd of misguided Halloweeners. Almost always based on the Michelle Pfeiffer movie version of the character or the more popular of late, Jim Lee version, it’s almost guaranteed that you will find someone prancing around in this latex body-suit on any good trip to the Con.

#2. The Tomb Raider

This tends to be the first costume I run into. Tomb Raider is an easy outfit to put together and is surprisingly sexy on a lot of different body styles. I think the real appeal comes from pretending to be Angelina Jolie, but I may be wrong.

Honorable Mention: The Manga or Cosplay

Call it Manga, call it Cosplay, it doesn’t really matter since half the time when you ask these girls what they are dressed as they can’t give you a straight answer. These costumed crazies haven’t read a comic since birth and have only came to the Con so that they can dress up.

#1. The Princess Leia

It’s never Leia prepared for battle gun in hand. It’s always slave Princess Leia, wearing the golden bikini and dog collar necklace. I see at least four of these girls walking around every year. It’s still my favorite costume.

When we actually decided to sit down and put this list together, I thought it was a no brain-er. The truth is that there are some really giant boobs in the comic world. Which ones really are the best and the biggest. I’m sure that you have an opinion on this subject. I’m sure there will be disagreements with our choices. I’m sure that you might even be right. But I’ll argue my list to the death.

#5. Catwoman (by Jim Balent)

During the 90s Jim’s vision of Catwoman dominated DC covers. Was it the giant boobs that made her so appealing? It didn’t hurt.

#4. Jungle Girl (by Frank Cho)

Frank likes ‘em big. It was difficult to keep this list fair and not completely filled with Frank’s lovely creations.

#3. Brandy (Frank Cho)

We couldn’t help but throw in a little more Cho. Coming in at number 3, Liberty Meadow’s proved that you could look at a comic over and over again without ever finding the time to read the dialogue.

#2. Power Girl (Adam Hughes)

It goes without saying that Power Girl would hit this list. This character has had giant bazooms for a long time. But no one ever made her as perfectly formed as Adam Hughes. Our hats are off to you Adam. Thanks for the mammarys.

Runner up for 1st prize: Captain America (Rob Liefeld)

Wow! When I see Captain America with double D sized man boobs all I can think is, “Rob, what was going through your head?!”.

#1. Red Monika (Joe Madureira)

Did anyone actually like this comic book? The Battle Chasers Red Monika images pop up all over internet. I had Red’s ginormous love pillows on my computer desktop for years before I even knew who she was, what comic she was from or who created her.
