Iron Man! War Machine! Nick Fury! Black Widow! Whiplash! This Iron Man 2 movie is going to be nuts! Okay I’ll admit that Whiplash kind of concerns me. The outfit is a bit lame and who knows how well The Wrestler is going to do with this role. I’m also a little bummed about Terrance Howard, but Don will probably do a bang up job. All and all this is going to be a wild ride.

Check out the latest trailer, it makes my brain water with pleasure.

What she will be doing I dont know. Most likely playing herself or a character very similar.

Olivia Munn, host of G4′s daily “Attack of the Show” has landed roles in Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 2,” and well as Fox’s “Date Night,” with Tina Fey and Steve Carrell. Munn also co-stars in the upcoming Broken Lizard comedy “The Slammin Salmon” and “Freeloaders,” from director Dan Rosen.

Marvel Studios, a subsidiary of Marvel Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: MVL) has launched the production of IRON MAN 2 starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, John Slattery, Mickey Rourke and Samuel L. Jackson. Jon Favreau will direct IRON MAN 2, the sequel to IRON MAN, with the screenplay by Justin Theroux. IRON MAN 2 is being released in theatres domestically on May 7, 2010 and distributed worldwide by Paramount Pictures. Tele Munchen will distribute the film in Germany and Austria.

IRON MAN 2 is being produced by Marvel Studios’ President, Kevin Feige, and executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Jon Favreau, Stan Lee, David Maisel, Denis Stewart and Susan Downey.

Based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero, IRON MAN 2 continues the story of the 2008 summer box office blockbuster IRON MAN, the first feature film to be produced independently by Marvel Studios. The first film in the franchise has grossed over a half billion dollars worldwide at the box office.

In addition to IRON MAN 2, Marvel Studios is also scheduled to release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including THOR on May 20, 2011, THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA on July 22, 2011, and THE AVENGERS on May 4, 2012.

This is great news, I have always enjoyed Scarlett’s Work. All she could do is make Iron Man 2 better. Her was what EW had to say about her chance of being in the Tin Heads next film. Because Emily Blunt’s commitment to Twentieth Century Fox and the studio’s upcoming Gulliver’s Travels movie may prohibit her from costarring in Iron Man 2, Marvel is in discussions with other actresses, most significantly Scarlett Johansson, to take her place, EW has learned exclusively. Marvel will not confirm, but sources around Hollywood say Johansson has indeed met with the filmmakers and is interested in taking the role of Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff, who doubles as Black Widow. Blunt’s reps are still trying to make both projects work, but Gulliver’s is further along, with a start date of April 15. Iron Man 2 still doesn’t have a shooting script and a start date has not yet been determined.
