The Baltimore Comic-Con is Coming

There are a ridiculous amount of comic conventions going on every year, and sadly I seem to miss most of them. The thing about any comic-con is that you typically just hit the ones near by. Once in awhile you may take the trip toSan Diego, or maybe jump on a plane to NY, but in general, if it isn’t in driving distance, we aren’t going.

A guy can dream though. This weekend I’m dreaming of hitting the Baltimore Comic Con, being held at the Baltimore Convention Center.

This event looks really well put together. Some of the guests include Garth Ennis, Neal Adams, Frank Cho and David Finch. On top of that they have some really interesting panels, a few of my favorites are “Creating Comics the ComiXology Way” and “Tribute to Joe Kubert,” I could spend a day listening to the panels and seminars at these events.

And of course, no comic-con trip would be complete without a costume contest. You gotta love the cosplay. I have no idea what the cosplay will be like this year, but I ran around the web and collected a few shots from last years con, and I think you may be pleasantly surprised. Check these out.

If you go to the Baltimore Comic Con this year, please drop me a line. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
